El 7% de los jóvenes tienen a desconocidos en sus redes sociales

[Spain] - El 6,8% de los jóvenes que utilizan las redes sociales tienen entre sus contactos a gente desconocida. De este porcentaje, un 8% han quedado en alguna ocasión con un desconocido a través de Internet, si bien el 72% definieron este encuentro como positivo y el 28% no lo consideraron agradable. Además, seis de cada diez están concienciados de que su privacidad puede correr peligro en la Red.

Bangladesh disabled children sexually abused: study

[Bangladesh] - Half of all disabled children in impoverished Bangladesh have been sexually abused, often by close family relatives, according to a new study. Some 52 percent of girls and 48 percent of boys aged between seven and 18 years have been abused, molested or raped, said the report by a Bangladeshi state-run foundation for the disabled and Save the Children.

Kids sent to foster homes on CWC orders

[India] - The issue of children lodged at the state-run home being given into foster care without compliance with provisions of the Juvenile Justice Act, has led to a blame game between the department of women and child development and the state-appointed child welfare committee (CWC). The issue was raised a few months ago by the high court of Bombay at Goa.
